Orders and pricing
2 questionsWhat does a collection cost?
The price depends on four things: how many locations the network has, how much effort it takes to read the source, which fields you need and how often it is to be delivered. A small network with a hundred locations from a clean source is something quite different from a network of several thousand branches whose operator rebuilds its store finder twice a year.
Tell me the network and you will receive a fixed quote – free and without obligation.
How long does it take until a new network can be delivered?
That depends on how the operator publishes its locations. If there is a clean overview, collection is set up quickly. If a site resists automated reading or spreads the details over many individual pages, it takes longer.
Before you place the order you are given a specific date – not an estimate that slips later.
Data and delivery
5 questionsIn which format is data delivered?
As an Excel file or CSV, following your column layout. If you have an existing model, I follow it – column names, order, delimiter, encoding and date format. You do not have to convert anything.
Which fields are included?
The usual details per location: name, address with separate house number, postcode and official municipality, phone and fax, email, website, opening hours and coordinates – plus a fixed identifier for the store network. Together we decide which fields you actually receive; further fields are added if the source provides them. How it is delivered
How often is the data updated?
As agreed – monthly or quarterly is usual, a one-off collection is also possible. Every delivery comes with a change count: how many locations are new, gone or changed.
What happens if a source fails?
Then you are notified. What does not happen: the old data being silently delivered again. That is exactly why the count is reconciled against the previous month before every delivery – a delivery that shrinks without explanation does not go out. More on quality assurance
Can missing details be researched?
Yes, as a separate service. Missing house numbers, for example, can be added from official geodata – but only where street and postcode match unambiguously. Where that is not certain, the field stays empty.
Sources and legal position
4 questionsWhere does the data come from?
From the operators' own official location directories – that is, from the store finder on their own website. Not from third-party portals, not from purchased address lists and not derived from other chains. That is why the number of locations matches what the company itself states.
Is this legally permitted?
Only details that companies themselves publish about their business locations are collected – address, opening hours, the branch phone number. Personal data is not part of the collection.
Which place names are used?
The official municipality is always delivered as the place, not the district. The basis is the administrative areas of the German Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy, covering all 10,939 municipalities. Without this check datasets cannot be evaluated cleanly, because the same branch sometimes appears under the district and sometimes under the municipality.
Which countries are covered?
The focus is Germany, together with Austria and Switzerland. If a store network also has locations in other European countries, they are collected in the same run. See coverage
