Not an off-the-shelf database, but the dataset you actually need – collected, prepared, verified.

The data path

From the source into your file

Five stages every single location passes through – afresh with every delivery.

  1. Step 01

    Source

What counts is always the operator's own official location directory – nothing derived from third-party portals, nothing bought in.

It takes more effort, but keeps the number of locations identical to what the company itself states.

    • Store finder with map
    • The operator's data interface
    • Individual location pages
  2. Step 02

    Collection

Every store network gets its own program, tailored to its source. No two networks are alike.

If an operator rebuilds its store finder, the collection is adjusted accordingly – at no extra charge.

  3. Step 03

    Preparation

Street and house number separated, the place set to the official municipality, opening hours brought into a fixed weekly structure.

Phone numbers consistently formatted, extensions kept. Spellings are standardised before anything is compared.

  4. Step 04

    Verification

Before every delivery the same checks run: count against the previous delivery, postcode against place, coordinate position, duplicates, field formats.

Anomalies are investigated, not silently corrected – a decline may be a collection error or a genuine change in the market.

  5. Step 05

    Delivery

The finished file goes out on the agreed date – in the format and with the columns you specified.

    Which networks are covered
What you receive

The fields you get

The columns every delivery carries. Together we decide which ones you actually need – further fields are added if the source provides them.

Field Content Example Filled
company_id Fixed identifier of the store network 1012 always
name Name of the location Musterfiliale always
str Street without house number Musterstr. always
number House number with suffix 12a always
zip Postcode 12345 always
city Official municipality Musterstadt always
phone Phone number, consistently formatted 0123/456789 always
fax Fax number 0123/456780 if available
mail Email address of the location filiale@beispiel.de if available
web Web page of the location, lower case www.beispiel.de/markt if available
lat Latitude (WGS 84) 50.000000 always
long Longitude (WGS 84) 10.000000 always
openings Opening hours in a fixed notation Mo-Sa 07:30-21:00 if available
services Services at the location, where published Packstation if available

Example values are invented. “If available” means the field stays empty when the source provides nothing – nothing is estimated.

The delivery

In your format,
not ours

Most providers deliver their own layout and leave the conversion to you. We do it the other way round: you tell us the columns you work with today – and the very first delivery arrives that way.

This is agreed once at the start, together with the target networks and the schedule. The result is a binding delivery plan with fixed dates.

Your column layout

You specify what the file should look like – column names, order, which fields are included at all. We deliver accordingly.

Excel or CSV

Both formats at no extra cost, both at once if you wish. Delimiter, character set and decimal separator as you specify.

Fixed identifier per network

Every store network keeps the same identifier across all deliveries. That way your dataset can be updated instead of re-matched each time.

Change count included

With every delivery, a comparison with the previous one: how many locations are new, gone or changed.

Also possible

  • One-off collection instead of ongoing delivery
  • Researching individual fields in an existing dataset, such as missing house numbers or opening hours
  • Matching and merging two datasets, including resolving duplicates
  • Setting up collection for a store network not yet covered
  • Checking an existing dataset for completeness and format errors

What we do not do

  • No estimated values – what the source does not provide stays empty
  • Nothing derived from third-party portals or bought-in datasets
  • No personal data, only business locations
  • No address trading and no individual lookups for private persons
  • No silent correction of conspicuous changes in counts
